 USPF Lahug campus is where the very rich experiences of student life are immortalized, hence the USPian high school alumni class of 1987 first venue for the silver anniversary. |
The two-day reunion started on August 20, 2012 at the Covered Court where passersby and onlookers saw the alumni gave sunny smiles and cheers, and exchange of tight embraces and welcome. It was the first day of reconnection after 25 years of sporadic communication since graduation.
Thereafter, the once students took a nostalgic walk to the lobbies and classrooms of the high school building. They shared their recollections of memorable experiences: first loves and heartaches, acts of mischief and rewards of discipline. Later, they joined the parlor games and videoke sessions to fully enjoy the reunion. USPF administrators Dr. Bryant Acar, Dir. Alvin Zamora and Mrs. Aurora Briones attended the event.
The Gala Night is held on August 20, 2012 at the Crown Regency Hotel and Towers. The renewed friendships filled the Stratus Function Hall, and the celebration of life and gratitude to USPF and the teachers are pronounced in the alumni testimonials. VP Lourdes D. Jereza, Mrs. Aurora Briones, and Mrs. Elnora Almario graced the happy occasion. HS class of '87 grand reunion is spearheaded by Emma Cañazares Villarete and Buddy Balongkit.
