USPF works hand-in-hand with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in securing the quality of education. Grounded on CHED's quality assurance mechanism, the University works on the Typology-Based Program.
The USPF Typology-Based Program is chaired by the university president Dr. Alicia P. Cabatingan and co-chaired by the two assistants to the university president on curriculum and on planning and development Dr. Bryant C. Acar (on right photo) and Mr. Lucio Pulmones, respectively.
The Program is introduced by Dr. Cabatingan (on left photo) and is thoroughly discussed by Dr. Acar in a formal seminar held on February 27, 2013 at the Moot Court, USPF Lahug campus. The seminar is participated by the members of the USPF Academic Council. Delegation of tasks is done by college or department with specific work groupings.
Under the Typology-Based Program, the Office of Alumni Relations is tasked to work closely on the alumni tracer study along with the Guidance Center and the Registrar's Office, hence, the Comprehensive Alumni Tracer Study (CATS) committee is formed.

CATS committee is scheduled to present a thorough 10-year alumni tracer of all colleges including AY 2002-2012 on June 10, 2013 along with the rest of the committees under the Program.
