Vasquez speaks at ARMS Lecture Series

USPF Office of Alumni Relations (OAR) 1st season of Alumni Relations Movement to Serve (ARMS) Lecture Series is held today July 1, 2013 from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Moot Court, USPF Lahug campus.  The lecture is organized in partnership with the USPF College of Nursing.

ARMS lecture series 2013-2014 chairperson OAR Dir. Kathleen Solon-Villaneza gave the welcome remarks.

College of Nursing Dean Merly Ouano formally introduced the speaker saying that he is "the epitome of quality nursing education of USPF."

USPian alumnus Jeff Vasquez, R.N.,M.N. lectured on Quality Nursing Care through Empowered Nurses.  A New Zealand-based practicing nurse and researcher, Vasquez opened his lecture with a backdrop on the different departments in Auckland's hospital. "I am on a mission," Vasquez emphasized later in his lecture on empowered nurses.

The open forum is stirred by very active clinical instructors and benevolent student nurses.

IMC director and ARMS co-chairperson Dr. Alvin Zamora formally closed the invigorating lecture.

Fellowship with clinical instructors followed as well as the courtesy visit to the University president Dr. Alicia P. Cabatingan.
