USPF joins Gabii sa Kabilin 2013 celebration


Have you tasted the top three favorite dishes of Philippine national hero Dr. Jose Rizal? 

This year 2013, USPian vice president for external relations Dr. Lourdes D. Jereza, Rizaliana museums curator and instructional media center director Dr. Alvin E. Zamora, and athletics & cultural affairs director Mr. Glen Albutra join forces in giving you inspired dance presentation while being served with the paborito nga mga luto of our national hero Dr. Jose P. Rizal.  

University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) with its commitment to advocate Filipino culture and heritage participates once again in one of the most significant cultural events of Cebu, the "Gabii sa Kabilin." 

USPF prides itself as the home of the Rizaliana personal effects and the original KKK flag.  With USPF are at least nine grand museums of Cebu known for their rich collections will especially open doors to all local and foreign guests today the 31st of May 2013 from 6:00 pm to 12:00 midnight.

USPF holds technical panel workshop on rubrics

The Office of the Assistant to the President (ATTP) for Curriculum & Special Programs led by Dr. Bryant Acar will hold the Technical Panel Workshop on Rubrics for Classroom Use come May 15-17, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Moot Court, USPF Lahug campus.

A need solidified by the recently concluded Outcomes-Based Education (OBE) seminar-workshop, purposely chosen experts will gather to create an University-standard rubrics for specific outcomes-based assessment.

IAMURE awards USPian Dr. Bryant Acar


The International Association of Multidisciplinary Research (IAMURE) headed by the dynamic president Dr. Genaro Japos successfully held the World Research Festival 2013 on May 1-4 at the Marco Polo Hotel, Davao City, Philippines.   One of the highlights of the festival was the IAMURE World Publication Awards given to active member institutions and researchers wherein USPian alumnus and administrator Dr. Bryant C. Acar is presented a Pearl award for his study on Special Education.         Dr. Acar also won the Diamond recognition as Outstanding World Research Presenter, Best Dressed Researcher, and Best Powerpoint Presentation during the IAMURE World Research Festival 2012 held here in Cebu, Philippines.
